Newman Biography Goes Into Second Printing

Last month, [Newman’s Own] Foundation and the Hole in the Wall Camp sponsored a special week-long session in Tuscany, Italy, for 22 seriously ill Iraqi children, along with 20 Italian and 20 German children.
Robert Forrester, the president and CEO of the foundation, said this gathering reflected “everything (Newman) thought was good and generous about this world. … The program represents the best of American, Italian and Iraqi character and cooperation.”
 
Since the actor’s death, Newman’s Own Foundation has given $28 million in grants and pledges to charities worldwide — the highest amount since it began in 1982. … more »
