Hospital For Special Care Gets Grants To Help Keep Kids ActiveAugust 18, 2009 NEW BRITAIN — Children living with disabilities and complex health problems should benefit from more than $40,000 in new grants awarded to Hospital for Special Care. Newman’s Own Foundation, a private foundation established by the late actor Paul Newman, has granted $5,000 to the Cruisers Junior Wheelchair Track & Field Team.
